Web Designer / HTML Developer

Hi, my name is Arthur and I run a web design agency that’s located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

We are currently hiring Web Designers / HTML developers.

This role will be on a per project basis to start and will turn into a full-time position in the future.

Job Duties:

- Complete web & graphic design requests efficiently following internal processes and to the client’s specifications
- Communicate with the team effectively to ensure requests are being executed accurately
- A thorough approach to design, ensuring you’re doing what’s best for the client
- Possess the ability to look up and learn how to do new things if you’re unsure or have questions
- Review outbound creative for accuracy and quality control
- Be available on a consistent and regular schedule
- Design and create within the brand using new and pre-existing graphics
- Work cross-functionally
- Work on multiple projects at one time
- Meet with project manager to determine the scope of a project
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
- Incorporate changes recommended by the project manager into the final design
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message
- Use color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques when designing projects

Requirements:

- Willingness to learn new tools and techniques
- Client-handling experience and attention to detail
- Be a team player
- Can comprehend and communicate in English
- Must be well versed in InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch, and Photoshop
- Bachelor's degree in Web / Graphic Design, Arts or related field - or an equal amount of Web / Graphic Design experience (commercial) *if you are a fresh graduate and is a master of Adobe programs mentioned above, you are more than welcome to apply
- Own fast internet connection of not less than 5MBPS
- Own an updated computer or laptop that can handle lots of design action. Needs to have working web camera and Adobe CC Ai, Photoshop, and Indesign installed
- A strong visual portfolio
- Ability to work under high-pressure, quick-turn deadlines and still create unique designs
- The desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Open to constructive criticism
- The ability to quickly create effective layouts or advertisements for both print and digital platforms.

Nice to have:

- HTML5 Expert
- Responsive Web design experience
- Webflow experience
- Javascript experience
