JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a unique opportunity for writers who enjoy fast-paced work without the experience and skill required to write original articles.

Rewriting is much easier than writing original articles. There is no research involved and you don't have to create original thoughts or be concerned with how an article "flows". You simply read each sentence, then rephrase and reword it while maintaining the meaning of the original sentence.

Rewriters will be asked to rewrite short 300-500 word articles sentence-by-sentence with simple spin formatting (surrounding sentence groups with braces {} and separating sentences with tildes ~}. Sometimes you will be asked to include the original sentence in the spin format, sometimes you will be asked to rewrite the article separately from the original.

Even though the manually rewritten sentences are in spin format, you are absolutely NOT allowed to using spinning software to automatically replace synonyms (that is a completely separate job). Rewriters may be asked to rewrite each article once, twice, or three times, although the majority of work will involve one or two rewrites.

We provide a very flexible schedule for rewriters. There are no specific days or hours required. Whether you rewrite on the weekends or 7 days a week is up to you. You choose when you want to work and how many articles you want to rewrite.

The only requirement is that you must return rewriting assignments at least once per week. This job is not appropriate for those who cannot rewrite on an ongoing basis (i.e., this is not temporary work). Rewriters who can produce 25, 50 or more high quality rewrites per week are preferred, but we also welcome rewriters that can consistently produce 10 or 15 high quality rewrites per week.

We are looking for multiple rewriters to begin work immediately. If you would like to join our team, review all requirements below and follow the procedures under the Application Process.

We have separate positions available including article writers and article spinners. Depending on your interests and skills, you may apply separately for those positions.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Advanced English Writing Skills. You must be able to write near-perfect English with very few formatting, spelling and grammar mistakes.

2. All rewritten sentences should be significantly different from the original sentence and each other. You are rephrasing (changing the sentence structure) and rewording each sentence.

3. Reliable internet access and a personal computer for email and receiving and delivering rewriting assignments. Rewriting assignments should not be downloaded to public computers.

4. You must be reliable and return all assignments weekly. You must also communicate with us in a timely manner. You are expected to answer any emails within 24 to 48 hours (max). Rewriters are expected to notify us in advanced of holidays or other circumstances that may interfere with your ability to return articles in a given week.

5. Previous rewriting experience is NOT necessarily required, although any writing experience will be helpful.

6. You must have an active PayPal account in order to receive payment.

COMPENSATION

Whether we ask you to rewrite articles once, twice or three times, you will be paid for each rewrite that you complete (one rewrite is equal to rewriting each sentence in an article once). As a growing business, we have rewriting work available for many months and years to come. We provide ample opportunities, the rest is up to you - the more you write, the more you earn.

The starting rate is $0.50 USD (~22.5 PHP) per 300-450 word rewrite.

I have tested beginning rewriters. If you have never done rewriting before, it might take you 30+ minutes to rewrite your first article with 20 sentences. But after practicing with a few, you should develop a much faster pace and be able to rewrite those 20 sentences in 10 to 12 minutes.

With practice, rewriters should be able to easily produce 5-6 rewrites per hour of work. If you were motivated and did rewrites for 40 hours per week, you could create a salary for yourself of over 34,000 PHP per month!.

NOTE: If you are requesting a starting rate $2-$5 USD or higher per rewrite, please do not apply. I can hire local Native English speaking writers in abundance for that rate.

All rewriters will receive a rate increase to $.75 USD (~33.75 PHP) after their first 15 rewritten articles. The increase will depend on quality and overall performance during that period. Reliable writers that produce high quality articles will also receive periodic bonuses.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Send an email with the subject "Application For Rewriting Position" that contains the following information:

a. your name and city of residence
b. a detailed description of your writing and rewriting experience
c. a detailed description of your current employment status and your plans for future employment (e.g., are you unemployed, leaving a full time position to work at home, working part time while you're a student, etc.)
d. the number of articles that you can rewrite per week - be conservative in your estimate
e. copies of any articles or other writing or rewriting that you have done in the past

NOTE: Any applications missing items a through d will be rejected. Also, if your application email itself is poorly written and contains spelling and grammar mistakes, it will be rejected. The email is our first impression of your writing ability, so I suggest that you spend some time preparing it.

Selected rewriters will be asked to write approximately 3 paragraphs of an article that we select. This article allows us to fairly assess your writing ability and will not be used or published.

Rewriters that successfully complete their rewriting test will be asked to join our team on a trial basis for one week. Rewriters will be paid for all articles submitted during the trial week. When the trial week is complete, reliable rewriters that have produced quality rewrites will be asked to join our team for ongoing work.
