GRAPHIC DESIGNER/WEB DEVELOPER (Part-Time: 4 Hours/Daily Only!)

ABOUT THIS JOB:
We are currently seeking an experienced and multi-talented Graphic Designer/Web Developer (Wordpress) who will support our marketing team in servicing various Australian businesses in the following sectors:
• Optometry
• allied health
• marketing and advertising
• real estate
• SaaS technology
• Retail
• Finance

The successful candidate will need to assist our Senior Graphic Designer/Web Developer in conceptualising and executing creative design projects that will bring our brands to life and will be responsible for maintaining their consistency across multiple touchpoints including website, print, social media, and any other digital or traditional platform that we engage in.

As a Web Developer, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, building, and modifying some of the websites that we manage and making sure that all their functions are working 24/7.

We will need the successful candidate to work alongside the team based in Australia, ideally from 7 AM
to 12 PM (Philippine time), daily. You have fixed weekends off. You may be allowed to change your
schedule but only upon the approval of our Director.

The requirement for a part-time Graphic Designer/Web Developer is until the 31st of March only.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER
• In-charge of conceptualisation, creation, development, and design of print and online marketing materials including social media posts, eBooks, eNewsletters, email marketing materials, presentation, templates, blog images, brochures, flyers, sales kits, event collaterals, advertisements, and other creative assets.
• Collaborate with marketing and other teammates to support the company’s website design and content marketing needs.
• Manage other design projects for our clients taking into consideration their design approach and requirements.
• Perform other duties required or assigned by the Director and the Marketing Communications Manager.

WEB DEVELOPER
• Develop and implement front-end web code and design standards.
• Write clean, semantic code.
• Create and optimise our web project management, hitting all deadlines and improving efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality web development.
• Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads, and customers.
• Wireframe and mockup revamped or brand-new site pages of our clients and present to senior management.


REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
• Experience as either an in-house designer or at a marketing agency. (We require work samples to apply for this position.)
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Premier Pro, After Effects, Flash, Dreamweaver).
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Deep expertise when it comes to WordPress.
• Hands-on experience with other web applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and APIs.
• Experience designing for a content optimisation system. This person must create assets for our web team that is mobile-, tablet-, and desktop-friendly and provide a user experience that fits on all three screens.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practice and processes.
• Familiarity with digital marketing particularly social media, email marketing, sales along with the tools used to help manage it like Hootsuite, Buffer, Sendible, MailChimp, Survey Monkey, Campaign Monitor, G Suite, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, SendinBlue, JotForm, Instapage, FreshSales, etc.
• Shopify know-how.
