JOB DESCRIPTION
We offer a unique opportunity for talented, self-motivated writers. We provide you with printed source material such as longer articles, news stories, etc. Your job is to review the source material and create unique 300 to 450 word articles summarizing and paraphrasing the material. You do NOT need to do any research - we do it for you!
The source materials cover a wide range of general topics such as business, health and family. There are NO technical topics whatsoever.
We provide a very flexible schedule for writers. There are no specific days or hours required. Whether you write on the weekends or 7 days a week is up to you. You choose when you want to work and how many articles you want to write.
The only requirement is that you must return article assignments at least once per week. This job is not appropriate for those who cannot write on an ongoing basis (i.e., this is not temporary work). Writers who can produce 25, 50 or more high quality articles per week are preferred, but we also welcome writers that can consistently produce 10 or 15 high quality articles per week.
We are looking for multiple writers to begin work immediately. If you would like to join our team, review all requirements below and follow the procedures under the Application Process.
We have separate positions available including article rewriters and article spinners. Depending on your interests and skills, you may apply separately for those positions.
REQUIREMENTS
1.
Advanced English Writing Skills. You must be able to write near-perfect English with good flow and very few formatting, spelling and grammar mistakes.
2. All
articles must be unique from the source materials. This job requires you to summarize and paraphrase materials. All articles must be completely unique from the source material and should not contain similar 3 and 4 word phrases. We recommend that all writers use DupeFree Pro (free Windows software) to check their articles against the original material.
3. Reliable
internet access and a personal computer for email and receiving and delivering writing assignments. Writing assignments should not be downloaded to public computers.
4. You must be reliable and
return all assignments weekly. You must also communicate with us in a timely manner. You are expected to
answer any emails within 24 to 48 hours (max). Writers are expected to notify us in advanced of holidays or other circumstances that may interfere with your ability to return articles in a given week.
5. Previous internet article writing experience is NOT necessarily required, although it will be helpful if you have
experience summarizing material for articles, research reports, school papers, etc.
6. You must have an
active PayPal account in order to receive payments.
COMPENSATION
You will be
paid for each article you complete. As a growing business, we have writing work available for many months and years to come. We provide ample opportunities, the rest is up to you - the more you write, the more you earn.
The starting rate is $0.75 USD (~35 PHP) per 300-450 word article.
I have tested beginning writers.
If you have never done article writing before, it might take you 30+ minutes to write (summarize/paraphrase) your first article (that's just 18 to 25 sentences). But after practicing with a few, you should
develop a much faster pace and be able to write an article in
12 to 15 minutes.
With practice, writers should be able to
easily produce 3 articles per hour of work. If you were motivated and wrote articles 40 hours per week,
you could create a salary for yourself of over 23,000 PHP per month!.
NOTE: If you are requesting a starting rate $2-$5 USD or higher per article, please do not apply. I can hire local Native English speaking writers in abundance for that rate (including the research).
All writers will receive a
rate increase to $1 USD (~45 PHP) after returning their first 15 articles. The increase will depend on quality and overall performance during that period. Reliable writers that produce high quality articles will also receive periodic
bonuses.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Send an email with the subject "Application For Writing Position" that contains the following information:
a. your name and city of residence
b. a detailed description of your writing experience
c. a detailed description of your current employment status and your plans for future employment (e.g., are you unemployed, leaving a full time position to work at home, working part time while you're a student, etc.)
d. the number of articles that you can write per week - be conservative in your estimate
e. copies of any articles or other writing that you have done in the past
NOTE: Any applications missing items a through d will be rejected. Also, if your application email itself is poorly written and contains spelling and grammar mistakes, it will be rejected. The email is our first impression of your writing ability, so I suggest that you spend some time preparing it.
Selected writers will be asked to write one 300-450 word article based on provided source materials. This article allows us to fairly assess your writing ability and will not be used or published.
Writers that successfully complete their writing test will be asked to join our team on a trial basis for one week. Writers will be paid for all articles submitted during the trial week. When the trial week is complete, reliable writers that have produced quality articles will be asked to join our team for ongoing work.
