Please read through the entire post before simply replying. If you can't do this, I don't believe your attention to detail will be good enough to work with over the long term.
I am looking for someone who is a great designer. I will need multiple website designs created throughout the month, and if you are good with illustrations or graphic ads, that would be a huge benefit. Everything I do is clean, modern, and created for the general public, so nothing offensive or adult in nature. I primarily build business websites.
I am looking for someone who is part time, about 20 hours per week. I can afford to pay $400USD per month for this. If I get more work, and you are available for full time, I will happily increase the hours and pay.
To get you started, I need you to complete a test, though. I have a website that I am rebuilding. I also have a site design that I like very much, but I havent been able to make one look like the other without directly copying it. I want a unique design, and I would like to use the template site as a reference, but dont simply copy it.
The site I am building is:
The template I like is:
Please dont change the initial banner/video section. I am already very happy with that. There are also certain elements that I also like on the page, but I leave the rest up to you.
Please submit your design ideas as a layered PSD. If you use stock images from shutterstock, that is okay, as I have a paid account there and can replace the images (if they have a watermark on them). I dont need you to actually build the page online, but I want to have the opportunity to take your PSD and turn it into a web page, as this is what will happen if we hire you.
You must be highly proficient at Photoshop and Illustrator. These are the 2 main programs you will need to use.
Once you have done that, please
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Do not, however, simply send me your resume or work examples without doing the test above, as I will disqualify you immediately.
Thanks,
Guy
