Magento / Back End Web Software Developer

Monster Group (UK) Ltd is an online retailer based in York, UK. We are looking for a Magento Web Developer to migrate our bespoke websites to our Magento multi-store website.

The successful person will have:
- Solid experience with PHP, MySQL and a working knowledge of source control, deployment process and dev-ops.
- Excellent knowledge in object-oriented programming and MVC.
- Ability to write clean, reusable and extensible code and tests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Keeping well documented, efficient code and ensuring a clear audit trail of communication.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with an ability to plan and prioritise your own time, whilst working alongside a team to ensure all deadlines are met on time and to a high standard.

Skills we’d love you to have:
- Prior experience with Magento 1 & Magento 2.
- Experience with NewRelic, ---------- and other debugging tools.
- Experience with react.js & redux.js.
- Experience with GraphQL & RabbitMQ.
- Magento Developer Certification.
- Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA.
- Ability to manage own workload, strong commerciality and attention to detail.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work with a successful British ecommerce company. You will be required to remotely log in during office/working hours so that we can maintain virtual contact and communications. The role can be full time or part time.
