JOB OVERVIEW

I am in need of a detail-oriented, highly-organized master of multi-tasking to help me in my various business activities and the occasional personal tasks. I am a Filipino-Canadian and have visited the Philippines several times, but do not speak Filipino, unfortunately. I lead a very busy life with my wife and two young children and we now live in Central Florida (Eastern Standard Time Zone) as well as manage a kitchen cabinet business (2 locations), a few vacation rentals, a real estate renovations business and a professional speaking career that has me traveling approximately twice per month.

Because of all this, I could very much use the help of someone who can take over from me some of the more time-consuming administrative tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Calling/emailing vendors requesting quotes.
• Proactively contacting vendors and contractors to ensure they show up to their appointments and/or deliver on their promises.
• Online and offline research. Examples include:
o Researching local government websites and/or calling them to find out the steps required to get a necessary permit or license.
o Researching product prices on sites like ---------- , ---------- and ----------
• Posting a job ad online on occasionally
• Posting online classified ads regularly
• In collaboration with me, creating and managing a regular maintenance schedule for all of our properties.
• Answering occasional unscheduled phone inquiries.
• Responding to emails and online messages with vacation rental guests.
• Must be available to communicate by phone/email/messaging 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, 5 to 6 days per week, Eastern Standard Time (I am based in Orlando, Florida).
• Must be comfortable using Timeproof to verify all paid working hours

LESS-CRITICAL, BUT STILL IMPORTANT, RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Basic email campaign management (I use ActiveCampaign)
• Basic website content management using Wordpress or similar
o Blog updates, podcast file uploads, image gallery updates
• Scheduling, rescheduling and confirming my phone, video and in-person appointments.

The above list might sound like a lot, but each critical task example is actually very similar—sending some emails and making some phone calls. I don’t expect you to know everything up front (like the email and website management platforms), but I do prefer if you have a strong knowledge foundation and be able to learn new platforms and can adapt quickly.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITION:

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills—with the ability to speak and write with some level of professionalism
• Strong, efficient, and accurate multi-tasking capabilities
• Intermediate general computer skills
• Intermediate software skills, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, also Wordpress and ActiveCampaign or similar
• Intermediate social media management skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think for yourself
• Conversational Spanish would be an asset, but not required

• Commensurate with your experience, up to 20,000 PHP, subject to the following
• Understanding that your initial training will require a large time-investment on my part and that it will naturally take you some time to become more self-sufficient, compensation will begin weekly at approximately 70% of your regular salary with 5% increases each week provided you are maintaining a eager positive attitude and demonstrating measurable improvements in your learning and skill level.
