We are Yogi Beans, a kids yoga company based in New York City. We are seeking an experienced artist to create a unique and standardized set of original illustrations.
This is a focused project based assignment encompassing 100 picture cards across various categories (e.g., animals, objects, people, etc.). The task is to create 100 captivating and fun images for each illustration (for kids ages 2-10) in a singular style that represents the Yogi Beans brand and aligns with our program content and curricula. What does a Yogi Beans "Elephant" look like? What does a "Car" look like?
The artist does not necessarily need to be a children's illustrator, but the illustration and representation of the image must convey the look and values of Yogi Beans and belong in parent-child environments.
Requirements for the job:
+ An excellent portfolio of illustrative work that demonstrates a singular and original style
+ Great communication skills
+ Experience in project management, versioning, incorporating feedback, etc.
+ Judgement and understanding of how children best learn through illustration
+ Understands the needs of our audience (kids and adults) and adjust the content accordingly
We would like to begin by seeing your portfolio, and would like to pay for a test or proof using one of our specific animals, objects, and people we need
Hope to hear from you!
