Kickstarter Crowd Funding Campaign Admin Assistant Needed

Hello, we are a Scandinavian-Inspired manufacturer of a new Coffee & Tea travel tumbler.

We are planning on launching a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign in March.

We need someone who has worked on a crowd-funding campaign before (Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Other).


You will be hired to start at 20 hours a week with the potential to scale up to 40 hours a week in the future given useful performance. This is our first Kickstarter campaign, however, if this goes according to plan we will launch several more in the future. This could be an ongoing position with lots of opportunities.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. You must work in EST zone, M-F.

Our Kickstarter Schedule Looks Like This:
Pre campaign Jan 28th - March 3rd
Live campaign March 3rd - April 22nd


What this job will look like for you;

Within the first 30-60 days you will be provided with a list of our closest competitors. You will then analyze their traffic source (list of referrals) for each project. You will look for specific influencers/bloggers that our competitors used and then reach out to them to convince them to review our product.

For this, you will use Google Reverse Image search (putting our competitors' product image in and seeing where on the web it was mentioned), traffic sites such as ---------- , identify relationships on Facebook, and then finally using Klout, to measure online influence.


Next, after you have reached out to our competitors' sources of traffic, your next task will be to create a media list of who to reach out to that were not part of the first step. This will be based on relevance, readership, relationships, and reach.

After that, you will be segmenting the audience you have built up, and communicating via Klaviyo email marketing.

Once the campaign goes live you will be handling the customer service, ie communicating directly with the individual backers.


You will need to be someone who:
- Has customer service experience. You are comfortable communicating with customers in USA, Canada, UK, Western Europe.
- Excellent written command of English
- A proven researcher, who can find what they are looking for on the web
- An ability to organize, sort, and then segment the research data
- Be exceptionally organized. You must be very organized with your thoughts, communication, and research to be good at this ---------- your response please answer the following questions:
