Ecommerce Operations Manager - Communication, Purchasing, and Procurement Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

The job involves being the purchasing operations leader over the production of our ecommerce products. This would involved the following:
- Production life cycle planning & management
- Communicating with Chinese suppliers through the production process
- Managing the production process with a high level of attention to detail
- Finding new potential products
- Finding potential suppliers for new product production

Ultimately, you should be able to handle operational and administrative projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities:
• Own the purchasing planning, production process and replenishment with our manufacturers

Requirements

• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or relevant role
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g. Google Calendar)
• Excellent email and instant messaging communication skills
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication
• Ability to multi-task data entry and analysis
• Excellent time management skills
• College Degree is preferred, but not required

QUALIFICATIONS

- Be able to commit 40 hours/week (Full-time 8 hour/day shifts, with breaks and flexible start time)
- Reliably show up to your shifts
- Fluent in English reading and writing
- Able to communicate quickly with team members and suppliers during your shift (under 5 minutes response time)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly curious and passionate. Fast learner. Willingness to try to figure things out independently.
- Quiet space. FAST internet.
