Accounting Lead

We need a lead accountant to run through some process improvements for a product company.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Sales commissions calculations - each month, we have to consolidate a dozen reports into a single sales rep report and make sure commissions are loaded and paid on time.
- Invoicing - Invoices are individually generated upon shipment, yet many of our clients branches of a large corporation with a single accounting office. This process, all the way through collections will be owned and tracked by the Accountant.
- Expense report reconciliation - we have 10 individuals with corporate cards. The Accountant will need to run monthly reconciliations to ensure all charges are included on expense reports with receipts. We also have to differentiate between reimbursed expenses and non-reimbursed expenses on our P&L.
- Bank reconciliations - monthly bank reconciliations are required.
- 1099s - Accountant will assist in the collection of data and preparation for annual 1099s.
- Monthly closing - Accountant will close the books upon reconciliation and all entries made within 7 days of the month-end.
- Monthly reporting - Accountant will distribute monthly reports (Balance Sheet / Income Statements / A/R / Segment Reporting).
