THE GIANT HAIRY PROBLEM YOU’LL BE SOLVING

So... we need another set of hands.

We are a fast growing e-commerce company selling products on Amazon. We’re crushing our goals, accelerating our growth at every step, and building out our channels as fast as we can. There’s more opportunity than we can handle.
This is where you come in. For our Marketing Associates, we have a two-step program:

1. Lighten the load of the current team

First, you’ll take ownership of repetitive or less-critical tasks from the rest of the team.
This might seem like a small impact but it’s actually huge. This gives you time to learn our systems, our philosophy to growth, and get one- on-one coaching from a top-tier team.

2. Take ownership of your own campaigns and tests
Once you’ve proven that you’re reliable, can ship on time, and follow through on every project, we’ll cut you loose on one of our Upgrade to see actual info’ll be a smaller channel and you’ll start by working closely with one of the experienced marketers on our team. You’ll have a lot of autonomy with the campaigns and experiments that you launch. We’ll be looking to you for recommendations on what we should do Upgrade to see actual infoom there, your career growth is up to you. The faster you get results, the bigger your role Upgrade to see actual info’s up to you on how far this goes. As soon as you can handle it, we’ll give you an entire channel to own. This includes everything from the growth strategy to the day-to-day execution. You’ll own your channel goals and be responsible for finding a way to hit them.

YOU’LL LEARN MORE IN 3 MONTHS THAN YOU DID ALL OF LAST YEAR

We’re not here to follow mediocre best practices. We want to deeply understand
what drives a business forward. Which design variables matter? How do we persuade people to take action? Which channels and campaigns drive the most value for the business?

We have a simple goal on the Growth team: learn faster than anyone else in the industry. The faster we learn, the faster we grow the company. You'll be in the middle of everything. You'll see how the entire business works and it'll be your ideas that help us make it even more effective. You'll learn exactly how to build a world-class growth machine.
We reach this depth of understanding by operating at an incredibly high tempo. Our iteration and feedback loops happen at a blistering pace. Testing combined with an intense tempo means you’ll learn faster than any of your peers.

YOU’LL WORK ON PROJECTS LIKE
• › Managing and growing our European and Canadian Amazon channel
• › Optimizing our Amazon listing to increase conversion rate
• › Ranking on Amazon’s search result using PPC and other ranking method
• › Weekly report showing increase or decrease in sales
• › Once you’ve proven that you’re reliable and that you can drive results, you’ll get to own one of our channels. You’ll put together the strategy, wrangle the resources that you need, and handle the day-to-day execution to hit your goals.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• › Someone that’s hungry. You should be itching to take on as much responsibility as you can handle, push yourself beyond your limits, learn quickly, and then find a way to push even further.
• › An exceptionally fast learner. We’re not expecting you to
have deep experience. But you should be able to consume a ridiculous amount of information to find the key leverage points in a given system.
• › Detail oriented, nothing ever falls through the cracks with you. The tempo is very high and you’ll have projects coming at you from a lot of directions. You’ll need to keep track of it all and follow through on every item.
• › Scrappy, you always find a way to ship your projects. Before we give you access to resources, you’ll need to prove yourself. The best marketers always find a way even when time and money is tight.
• › You take ownership and accountability for everything. Even if a project goes sideways, your first response is always “I take full responsibility. Here’s what I’m doing to fix it.”
• › Able to work remotely with your own phone, computer and high speed internet access in place.
• › This is a full-time, 100% remote position.
