Travel Guide Book Writer/Travel Journalist/Content Creation

BCT-Touristik is looking for a talented Content Writer to generate engaging, original content for our website. We are a tour operator based in Siegburg, Germany with over 20 years experience in organizing group travel tours to Japan, Korea, South America and much more. Writers will be given the topic of the content and preferred length of the text. As a Content Writer you will need to research the topic and use innovative text and keywords to attract future travellers. We are totally flexible on your work schedule, as long as the content is delivered consistently every week. We require two texts production per week!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create engaging content for our webpage which can possibly be used in our guide book later
2. Be unique – each text will be controlled for copy rights issues
3. Writing style as a travel journalist/travel guide style
4. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
5. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
6. Maximize site traffic by utilizing Search Engine Optimization keywords
The project focuses on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage & World Natural Heritage in Japan. There are 43 texts needed with the length between 1,000 to 1,200 words per each text.
Qualifications:
1. Advanced English level with indisputable grammar skills
2. Minimum Bachelors Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related field
3. Excellent content and text writing skills
4. Great time management skills
5. Previous experience in content writing would be beneficial but not essential
6. You are receptive to feedback and new ideas - and take relevant actions to grow and improve
