Podcast Editor (Remote Work)

We are looking for an experienced part time Podcast Editor to join our team.

Our Podcast is just starting out so we are starting to look for an editor now. We will be releasing a weekly show so it will only be 4 or 5 episodes per month.

Average Raw Audio file is 1 hour long, needs to be edited down to 40 minutes.

The job process is:
- I will send you the raw audio of me and my guest (sometimes just me) that are recorded on separate tracks
- Remove background noise and hum
- Remove filter words like ums and uhs
- Remove breathing sounds
- Improve audio quality especially for some guests with bad microphone
- Adjust volume so that both tracks are at the same level
- Edit parts that are lagging due to internet connection issues to make them sound smoother
- Edit certain parts (remove words or sentences) to make the podcast sound more smooth (when necessary). This is commonly done for the host's audio track.
- Add my pre-recorded intro and outro (same intro and outro for all episodes unless informed otherwise)
- Sound effects when wanted
