JOB OVERVIEW

We are a technology digital magazine that focuses on the audio niche.

Examples of audio products that we cover are:
Headphones, In-ear monitors (IEMs), earphones, Digital Audio Players (DAP), DAC/AMPs, mainstream brands such as Apple, Jabra, Beats, Bose, Samsung, etc. and upcoming brands like Shanling, Xduoo, FiiO, etc..

We are looking for candidates who can report on the latest audio product news, releases and trends.

## Mission

News writers are responsible on a daily basis for writing multiple stories, finding and vetting news rigorously and working against the clock to beat others to the story. Ideal candidates are people who can write great headlines and ledes.

## Outcomes

1. Write and publish multiple news stories ( ---------- words per article) on a daily basis
2. Value-add an ---------- e up with fresh, sharp angles on the day's events and offer smart opinions and insights that complement the straight news
3. Report news out as necessary, on tight deadlines, based on leads provided by Chief Editor.

## Requirements

1. Prior experience as a News Writer is highly desired
2. Interest in Audio niche is a huge bonus
3. The ability to transform complex ideas into interesting and understandable stories, with an eye toward the audience’s interests and needs
4. A love for breaking news
5. Passion for technology, especially our core coverage of the audio niche.
6. Approach learning from the editors with openness and enthusiasm.
