Hi,
We have a YouTube travel channel called Hungry Passport, offering short and concise travel tips for different cities around the world. As our channel grows, we need help with editing our videos.
POSITION TYPE
- Part-time: approx. 2 weeks per month (estimated to around 40 hours per week – the job will be task-oriented)
- We are looking for someone to eventually work with full-time and long-term
PROPOSED COMPENSATION: $200 USD per video
($400 USD per month for 2 videos)
TASKS:
- EDIT 2 VIDEOS PER MONTH for our YouTube channel (now mainly focusing on approx. 20 min long »things to know before you go to a certain city« type of video). We will provide you with the necessary footage, voiceover, music, instructions, etc.
- BE ABLE TO WORK WITH AND GO THROUGH LARGE AMOUNTS OF VIDEO FILES (around 150 GB per video), and search for additional footage if necessary on stock sites (provided by us)
- Adjust to fit YouTube,
SKILLS:
(1) EXCELLENT EDITING SKILLS:
*Adobe Premiere (excellent): editing, color grading, MOGRT, transitions & effects, rendering process, etc.
*After Effects (basic animation): text, lines, etc.
*Include at least three links to your works that best showcase your editing skills, including the most difficult video you've ever edited
(2) STRICT RESPECT FOR DEADLINES – the success of our work depends on deadlines so there will be zero tolerance on missed deadlines
(3) EQUIPMENT SUITABLE FOR VIDEO EDITING IN 4K (enough storage on your computer for at least 200 GB per video, knowledge how to create proxies to work with large files, etc.)
(4) Good and reliable internet connection
(5) THE ABILITY FOR FAST-PACE VIDEO EDITING
(6) Creativity and efficiency
(7) Good English
