Savvy WordPress Web Developer

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our small team to develop, maintain and update websites.

The sites you will be working on cover a range of different industries, such as consultants, commercial catering, training organisations, insurance, mental health, painters, meditation, construction and more.

We are seeking a developer who works quickly and efficiently, creativity and design skills will be an advantage.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 4 years+ WordPress front end web development experience
- Experience using page builder themes, such as Divi
- Experience setting up child themes and making moderate level customisations
- Experience with WooCommerce
- Able to setup and migrate WordPress websites using cpanel
- Moderate Photoshop experience for editing and optimising images
- Good html and css coding skills
- Ability to work quickly and to a deadline
- Great communication skills

TYPICAL ACTIVITIES
The role will include a range of activities, including
- New web builds
- Adding content to existing sites
- Plugin and theme updates
- Pagespeed improvements and SEO optimisations
- Troubleshooting & resolving plugin conflicts

ABOUT THE ROLE
Expected availability is standard Brisbane time (UTC+10) business hours, i.e. 9am-5pm Monday - Friday

As we like our team to be readily avail for our projects and still enjoy a work/life balance, we are looking for someone who can commit full-time to this role and is looking for a long-term position.
Salary will be competitive based on your experience.
