We are an establish internet entertainment company seeking a creative content curator, VA assistant with Wordpress and Facebook experience– ideally interested in viral content/adventure/gadgets/science/fitness content.
We are looking for a VA who can assist us in the various responsibilities listed below. This person must be a creative problem solver who is thoughtful, intelligent, and outgoing. You must be able to take on tasks, own them to completion, and be able to think outside the box and work through challenges to complete the work at hand. We are looking for the best people for a long term relationship.
There are two websites we are launching in the next couple weeks, similar to http://upworthy.com/. Initially, the main responsibility will be researching and creating the blog posts and facebook posts from links we provide and/or your would be searching for interesting and viral content yourself on the topics above, using your own tools and/or tools/sources we provide.
These posts must be interesting and ENGAGING in terms of facebook shares, likes, comments etc
You MUST have excellent English, customer-centric thinking, and be available to Skype. Having an “eye” for marketing/design will help you excel in this role.
Social Media experience is a MUST. Being fast on the computer with research and typing is a MUST.
Other skills required are:
-Ability to write unique and attention grabbing headlines without revealign what the post is about, in ex: http://upworthy.com/ style
-Ability to use basics of photoshop (resize, optimize images in size, width, for mobile)
-Ability to create light weight gifs from videos, either using online tools, photoshop/online tools without watermark
-High attention to detail
-Fast work around of the task assigned
-Ability to download/process images fast
Timezone is negotiable as long as the work is done fast and matches within our quality limits.
Bonuses and pay increases are possible depending on the speed and quality of work.
