Fashion "Flat" Sketch Assistant

YOU ARE:
Precise
Organized
Detail oriented
Have access to Adobe Illustrator to use .ai files
Most important of all are your communication and listening skills

SKILLS:
Expert at drawing accurate fashion flats **(please do not apply if you don't have experience drawing 'flats')**
Understanding of fashion language
Knowledge of fabrics and fabric types
Basic understanding of garment construction
Ability to closely follow complex instructions
5 star Adobe Illustrator skills! You will be using templates, layers, color libraries & dynamic symbols

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sketching ‘flats’ from photographs, rough drawings and notes
Sketching additional back, side and internal views (if needed)
Adding detail to sketches, like fastenings, embellishments and colors
Ensuring drawings are to scale (using measurement specs)
Creating diagrams to illustrate points of measurement

THE POSITION:
Temporary position for around 4 weeks, at 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday. Starting with a small trial project so we can both see if we work well together.
