Part Time Video Editor

Classroom presentations of American teacher in teaching American Football. Film includes teacher and the projector screen which shows his PowerPoint presentation. The Raw Video is approx 60-minutes long.

Let's call this long raw video the "course"

I will provide the minute-second marks in which to make cuts of this raw video file of the course. The job is to "chop" it up and re-render into separate, smaller mp4 files.

We will call these "chapters"

So I send you one 60-min video file of the course, you send back several smaller video clip files, or chapters. Again, I will provide instructions on where to make the cuts. Every course presentation will vary in the total amount of chapters depending on the subject of that course. Some courses only have 10 chapters, other courses might have 30 chapters.

Sometimes the lighting is bad and cannot see PowerPoint clearly. I will provide the PowerPoint, which you will export ---------- eg, and put into the video as an "overlay" so customer who buys the video can clearly see PowerPoint slide that teacher is talking ---------- front of each individual chapter will be a 5-sec title. I will provide the name of the title. These are the names for each ---------- side each of the smaller video files ("chapters") will be 1-2 graphics. This might be a lower third or bullets. I will provide the text for what these graphics need to say.

Transitions may be used at creative discretion of the editor.

I will also need a thumbnail created with Photoshop for each "course".

Each of my teachers have 10 to 15 courses. The same chapter titles and thumbnail can be used over and over again for that instructor. So once the templates are made for that instructor, you simply change the text for future titles and thumbnails.

Before beginning the work, I will SKYPE with selected candidates to show them exactly what I need.

I have 300 hours of video to edit between now and May. So while this is part-time and FLEXIBLE hours, an aggressive editor could easily make full-time pay. Basically, as soon as you send me back a completed project, I will send you another one.

I will pay you per project 24-hours after you send me the completed project.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO USERS OF SONY VEGAS or CAMTASIA EDITING SOFTWARE.
