PyQuant News which is a blog with resources for developers using Python for scientific computing and quantitative analysis. The site is a collection of links from around the web related to using Python in data science, machine learning, finance and trading. The links are collected from various sources like Hackernews, Quantocracy, blogs and newsletters. They are manually entered into the Wordpress site.
We'd like to scale our efforts, brining more of this content to our loyal audiences. Additionally, we'd like to expand the content on the site. Instead of simply copying and pasting the introduction from the source, we'd like custom written summary of the article.
The job entails the following responsibilities:
- Twice a week, receive an
- For each link, write a summary of the article in between 200-300 words
- For each link, publish a blog post for review (checklist guide available)
That's it! This should not be more than 20 minutes per link. So if we send 10 links in a week, you'd be paid for 3.3 hours for that week. No more than 15 hours per month (45 posts)
The right candidate will:
- Be proficient in English
- Have a technical enough background to property summarise articles about data science, machine learning, finance and trading
- Have some experience using Wordpress to post blogs
Bonuses for superior performance available. Wage will be reassessed after three months of working together.
