Copy Writer

We are looking for an experienced Content Writer to join our Marketing team! The Content Writer will to assist the marketing team to create digital content for the company that provides information and showcases our products (educational toys, games and resources). The Content Writer will develop content that accurately create compelling media content on the various platforms: company website, blogs, articles, product descriptions, and social media outlets. You will be responsible for staying on top of all SEO optimization techniques that will add value to the company by actively engaging customers and maintaining a cohesive digital brand ---------- sential Job Functions:

Assist the marketing team with conducting in-depth research on industry related topics in order to develop original content for multiple platforms such as: websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, various social media outlets, and blogs.
Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company ---------- e search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the Marketing team to ensure timely delivery of materials
Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
Proofreading and editing of all marketing content for errors and inconsistencies.
Must demonstrate having an eye for spotting core audiences’ core values and pain points.
Ability to analyze marketing metrics and make changes if needed
Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas.

Job Requirements:

Degree Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field if applicable.
Three years of experience writing for a B2C audience. (moms, teachers, parents, grandparents, principals, schools, therapists, counselors)
Proven content writing or copy-writing experience with portfolio of published articles.
Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with the company's brand image, products, and services
Preferred Qualifications:

Photoshop and SEO experience
