Job Description

We are looking for a UI/UX designer that has a passion and talent for UI/UX and amazing user experiences. You have experience designing apps and websites that understands its users and delivers on an exceptional experience and design. You are driven, love challenges and driven to excellent results. You have a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

This position is 100% remote. You need to ideally be able to work from 9AM to 6PM PST. However, if these hours do not work, you must be able to work from 3PM to 11PM PST.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the team (founder and developers) to understand requirements and deliver the best UI/UX experience
- Work closely with the team members to define, develop, and execute on the overall vision for the best crypto simulation game for mobile and web apps
- Participate in the full software development life cycle (analysis, design, app launch)
- Translate UX specifications and requirements into effective design
- Create wireframes, page flows, mockup / interactive prototypes across mobile and desktop to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Tackle some of our most challenging and high-impact UX problems facing our mobile and web apps
- Facilitate and participate in brainstorming and creation of user experience concepts
- Resolve any implementation issues that affects the design and software performance
- Support any ad hoc assignments from time to time
- Develop new features with Javascript, SCSS, and Ruby on Rails

Skills

- Experience in designing beautiful and usable mobile and web-based interfaces and applications
- At least 3 years of experience in web/multimedia or mobile app design
- Experience in gaming would be a major bonus
- Previous experience working remotely is required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant technologies and tools (e.g., HTML/CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
- Experience in prototyping tools such as Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
- Motivated, independent, self-disciplined, responsible, good problem solving skills and team player
- Ability to think of simple solutions, even for complex problems
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Willing and quick to learn with a strong sense of responsibility

Requirements

- Diploma or University degree in Web Design / Graphic / Multimedia Design
- Minimum 2-3 years developing as a UI/UX designer
