Provoc Makeup needs a new ecommerce website designed on Shopify which will focus on the consumer and translate the brand image.
You will need to create the theme to convert and show the products in a user friendly way. You will also need to ensure its mobile responsive.
Connectivity will be needed to Quickbooks online to ensure sales are passed and inventory updated.
Social media immersion should be considered. Being able to sell the products within FB and Insta is also a requirement.
Other apps/features such as cross selling will be key to enhancing the basket value.
Please see info below for more information.
We are looking for suggestions, ideas and an understanding of what's needed
=====
BACKGROUND
Historically the business model was very different, it was a beauty business involved in distribution to wholesale and trade professionals only.
We had an amazing nail brand and organic spa line. We then took on the makeup which has the ability to be sold to professionals at a discount off retail but predominately has its marketplace in retail.
We weren't geared up for this.
What we need to do is create a brand website focused to the consumer but also can allow the makeup artist professional to purchase at a discounted rate.
The current website
This is developed on a wordpress system and woocomerce. The company who did this for us has been slack....lots of features are now broken since updates and they charge extortionate pricing for each fix and as a result has deteriorated.
Should you be successful then of course admin rights for the existing site can be provided if necessary
SOCIAL MEDIA
We know the way to go is to raise brand awareness via social media. We have been very conservative on this front simply because the website does not match the image we want exude
We think the way forward is to embed our socia media with the site, I think Shopify enables you to connect to FB and sell there too
Current FB page is:
Current insta is: provocmakeupuk
Brand manufacturer insta (we have no access to, but we can use any of their assets): provocmakeup
NEW WEBSITE
Outline of requirements as outlined in the previous description, I am sure Shopify has most of these by default but even if not we can add stuff as we go along so it looks and feel seamless):
• We use Quickbooks online, i believe there is connectivity between Shopify and QB so the stock levels and product availability can be synced
• discount codes/vouchers we can use in our
• ability to choose trade professional or consumer for each user account in the back end (not a huge deal breaker, we can somehow work around it) so that the professional has a discounted price on the product
ASSETS
The imagery we receive from the manufacturer are poor and inconsistent (if you head to
This is what I have from them:
In the 190222_Provoc New Launches - folder there are some assets too including a catalogue which i know has some good images but i cant get to them, perhaps you have the ability to pull them off?

If successful, then likely ongoing tweaks and changes will be needed to ensure our website remains current.
A designer friend started putting something together for me but unfortunately was unable to commit to the project because for work load. Please see link of wireframes, we like the black theme:
