Web Graphic Designer Needed

We are Interco, a social media agency looking to employ a talented Web Graphic Designer.

Your main duties will be, 
• web design and 
• graphic design
 
WEBDESIGN:
You need to be able to create the look and feel of websites, deciding on layout, colors, and images to create usable and aesthetically pleasing websites.

GRAPHIC DESIGN: 
You will also be designing individual page elements like, 
• logos, 
• social media backgrounds, 
• advertising banners, 
• custom graphics and 
• infographics.
 
This position is Full Time, 40hr/pw with long term outlook for the right person.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop images, logos and other designs using software
• Use the appropriate colors, layouts and fonts for each design
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final websites, graphics and layouts are visually appealing
 
REQUIREMENTS: 
• You need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design
• Understand a target audience and how best to reach that audience through artistic work
• Familiarity with typographical principles and practices as you need to consider font choices and sizes and how they work within the page
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• You should be comfortable with image editing software (Adobe Photoshop)
• Knowledge of modern wordpress PAGE BUILDER, such as Elementor, is preferred (If not this is easy to learn)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• You should have a wide variety of professional design experience and show this through your portfolio
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
• You should have a high speed and consistent internet connection (with backups)
• You should have a computer or laptop that can handle lots of design action 
 
ABOUT COMPENSATION: 
• The basic salary is negotiable and depends on your experience
• Payment schedule is negotiable
• We pay 13th Month
• We pay bonuses for great work and results
• We give pay increases based on performance
 
HOLIDAYS & DAYS OFF
We give you 1 personal day which you can use as sick days or vacation days for every month you work for us (12 days per year), 
 
We give you all official holidays as paid holidays (New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, etc)
