Video Editor Needed

We are Interco, a social media agency looking to employ a talented Video Editor/Producer for producing simple online video’s and animations for Facebook & Youtube.
 
You will be in charge of seeing our online video projects through from concept development to production & delivery.
 
Based on the input we will give, you should be able to envision the video’s. 

The 3 types of input you can expect,
• An article, you should create a video that communicates the main message of the article
• We will give you an example (instructions) video and you should create a comparable video 
• We will give you specific input for creating a Facebook video ad

When needed you can hire staff on Fiverr,
• a scriptwriter 
• actor(s) when needed
• a voice over when needed
• select the right input to use (graphics, after effect templates, stock images/videos and music) on ----------

So, you would be responsible for piecing together these components to create an exciting video with the needed purpose (inform, persuade, stimulate engagement etc) 
 
This position is Full Time, 40hr/pw with long term outlook for the right person.
 
Responsibilities
• Create a concept for the video based on the input given
• Read script and develop storyboards
• Incorporate creative ideas to achieve the best possible visual result
• Manage and oversee video production
• Hire actors and scriptwriters
• Proofread and edit scripts as needed
• Making instructions for graphics for designer
• Editing the videos
• Deliver high quality product on time and within budget
• Oversee video collection to ensure all media (including source files) is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained for adjustments
• Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing  
• Work with our creative teammates
• Regularly collaborate with marketing team
• Follow the company's brand guidelines
• Present to management
 
REQUIREMENTS:
• An extensive knowledge of storytelling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Final Cut Pro X (or other video editing software)
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop
• Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred.
• Creative thinker
• Needed knowledge of video equipment (Cameras, Lighting and audio equipment)
• Ability to control the overall planning of a video production
• Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
 
ABOUT COMPENSATION: 
• The basic salary is negotiable and depends on your experience
• Payment schedule is negotiable
• We pay 13th Month
• We pay bonuses for great work and results
• We give pay increases based on performance
 
HOLIDAYS & DAYS OFF
We give you 1 personal day which you can use as sick days or vacation days for every month you work for us (12 days per year),
