Responsibilities:
* Continuously design, develop, test and improve the business logic, algorithm and database schema of the application
* Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of the application
* Work closely with frontend and mobile developers
* Work with support team to address any reported issues
* Present ideas for improvements or additional functionality

Skills:
* Highly proficient in PHP and Linux; Python knowledge is a plus
* Familiarity with Laravel and Lumen framework is a plus
* Experience in AWS is a plus
* Knowledgeable in simple frontend Javascript
* Experience with MySQL & query optimization, knowledge in NoSQL is a plus
* Experience with medium to large scale web application development
* Good understanding of HTTP protocol and how the Internet works
* Experience with REST and OAuth
* Experience with Git
* Experience with writing unit tests
* Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, SOA and MVC architecture
* Good understanding of application security and common vulnerabilities
