Shopping Analyst

Roundforest Inc. empowers consumers to make better shopping decisions. In the digital age, there are endless choices of products and users are struggling to find the product that truly fits their needs. E-commerce sites (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.) sell millions of products that are very similar, so how are we supposed to know which one to buy? Well that’s why we are creating Carter, an AI-powered shopping assistant, who helps people through the buying process.

We are introducing this exciting, new, and innovative project but we need more of what we call, “Sales Analysts” to help our team out!

Your mission will be to research products based on customer needs in a concise, confident, and most importantly HUMANE manner. This means we need people who are enthusiastic, funny, excited to learn, and a natural in sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Responding to inbound live chat
- Interacting with customers’ to understand their needs and providing product recommendations based on those needs.
- In-depth research of various product descriptions and reviews (on Amazon)
- Being part of a team and contributing to continued excellence

Our successful representatives have the following skills:

- Great listening skills to help better understand customer needs
- Ability to ask probing questions to draw out additional customer wants/needs.
- Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and ability to compose well-spoken messages in real-time, multi-tasking environment. (Please note: This is not a telephone position; writing skills are critical.)

Qualifications:

- At least 1-2 years in a sales environment
- Native or Fluent English speaker
