Website Copywriter (Project-basis, Education industry)

Hello! We’re looking for a copywriter to write website content for a newly designed website.

We’re a Singapore-based digital marketing agency that’s been around for 5+ years. Our local team size is around 20, and we’re familiar with distributed working arrangements (we practise it even with our local team). Services that we offer to our clients include web design & development, social media marketing, search engine optimization, online advertising, and email marketing.

THE PROJECT:
* Our client is from the education industry and operates pre-schools (kids are 18 months - 6 years) and international schools (curriculum starts from pre-school, and also includes primary, secondary, and high school)
* You’ll be writing website content for their newly designed website pages
* You’ll have access to a content style guide which provides writing guidelines (e.g. voice & tone, grammar & mechanics, writing for web elements) for the client’s brand
* You’ll also have access to the webpage designs and character limits for the various text placements

PROJECT DURATION:
* This is for a 1-month project (40 hours / week), from mid December to mid January
* Paid leave is available for Christmas, Rizal and New Year’s Day
* There is a potential that this may extend into a longer term contract - due to client delays and also because our agency is looking out for skilled copywriters to help out with other projects

HOW TO TELL IF YOU’RE A GOOD FIT:
* You’ve an excellent command of the English language
* You should naturally and effortlessly be able to write sentences and paragraphs that are grammatically correct, fluent, and in the brand’s voice (understanding the brand’s persona and customer profile)
* You have a moderate understanding of SEO
* You are interested in the education industry
* You will proactively conduct research if you’re uncertain about your writing topic
* You’re meticulous with a high attention to detail. Write rocket fuel on top of your application to us and demonstrate your attention to detail.
* You’re willing to commit to this job full-time during the project duration (no other jobs aside from this one)

HOME OFFICE REQUIREMENTS:
* Home office with a private room and desk
* Stable internet with at least 5 Mbps speed and backup internet with at least 3 Mbps speed
* Personal laptop or computer with at least i5 processor
