JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking to hire a Rockstar VA to assist with:
1) The daily management of the social media accounts for two consumer product brands, one in the pet industry, and the other in the novelty apparel/costume industry, and
2) Managing our brands’ growing Instagram influencer programs.

The two brands you will be working with are Zoo Snoods™, a fast-growing line of cute dog sweaters/costumes, and Beard Head™, a popular novelty headwear brand that’s been featured on the U.S. TV show “Shark Tank.”


COMPENSATION:
$400-$800 per month, depending on experience and skillset. There will be ample opportunities for a raise, based on annual job reviews, as well as bonuses for meeting or exceeding performance goals.


REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years experience with social media ---------- your application, you must provide specific examples of accounts you have worked on in the past, your job duties, any programs or initiatives you managed, and their results.
- 2+ years experience with influencer ---------- your application, you must provide specific examples of your past experience working with influencers, who they were, your process, goals, and results.
- Excellent English.
As someone who will be posting, commenting, and messaging under our official social media accounts, your English must be absolutely perfect. There can be no egregious spelling or grammatical errors…ever!
- Committed to full-time employment.
We need to know you will be committed and available to us for at least 40 hours/week. There may be slow times of the year when the full 40 hours aren’t necessary…but we will pay you regardless. We expect the same commitment from you.


BONUS TRAITS/SKILLS (not required, but appreciated):
- Loves dogs, and own a dog.
Since you will be working with a lot of dog/pet influencers on Instagram, it would be ideal if you also love dogs.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects.
We do most of our design work ourselves in-house, but it certainly is helpful if you can do some graphic design too. Video editing and After Effects is especially appreciated.
- Experience with PPC campaigns (Adwords, Facebook Ads, Amazon Ads, etc...)
This is also something we already do ourselves in-house, but we welcome the experience if you have it.


JOB DUTIES:
We will start you out with limited responsibilities relating to our social media marketing efforts, but as we work together and get more comfortable with your skillset, ideally your range of responsibilities will grow.

To start, your basic responsibilities will include:
- Liking and commenting on relevant social media posts (mostly Instagram)
- Responding to customer service inquiries on social media
- Managing and organizing communications with existing influencer network
- Supporting existing influencer network to create new promotions and drive affiliate sales
- Identifying new potential influencer targets

Additional responsibilities, once you are comfortable and determined capable:
- Creating social media content (daily posts, stories)
- Producing and managing promotional giveaways on social media
- Coordinating collaborations and co-marketing promotions with other brands
- Organizing non-profit/charity partnerships and donations

Potential extra opportunities, if you have the skillset:
- Graphic design for ads and other promotional materials
- Video editing for social media content, marketing materials, and ads
- Email newsletter design and marketing


HOURS:
40 hours/week (full time)
We are based in Los Angeles, so you must be available for at LEAST 4 hours during our working hours between 7:00am – 6:00pm PT. Remaining working hours can be chosen at your convenience.
