JOB OVERVIEW

Social Media Manager & Content Writer
Hungry, Web-savvy, Wannabe Social Media Superstar Needed!

This is a dream role designed specifically for a ambitious, high-achieving, web-savvy uni graduate who believes there is more to life than getting a job at a mega-corporation and counting the days until retirement (or layoffs…)

Dear Future Content Writer & Social Media Superstar,

Are you obsessed with instagram, facebook, snapchat and tiktok and want to get paid to use them all day everyday?
Did you just graduate, and are in high-demand for your skills, but don’t want to be a cog in a wheel at large company?
Are you ambitious, hungry to learn and improve yourself?
Are you looking for a role which will be varied and allow you to learn all aspects of how a business is run?

If you’ve always been technologically inclined and would like to take those skills to the next level -- while at the same time learning the crucial customer service, admin, entrepreneurial and marketing skills you need to take your life to the next level - this could be the opportunity you’re looking for.

But before I tell you more about the opportunity, I should probably introduce myself.

Who Are We?
Paul (me)
I’m a uni drop out & founder of a fast-growing ecommerce company, and about 3 years ago I was in the exact same position as you. I had just returned to Australia with just a few thousand dollars to my name.

I returned hungry to start a business, but after all my “formal education” I still knew nothing about being an entrepreneur…

So I got a job as the “ecommerce manager” for a successful under 30 CEO, where I learned through hands-on experience how to build a multi-million dollar online business.

A year later I started Royal Essence which has gone on to be nominated for the ORIAS new retailer of the year award.

Hannah (my wife)
A jack of all trades. Literally I think there is nothing she is not good at. Hannah grew up in Quezon City, Philippines, starting out life studying to be a nurse, once she realised blood was not her thing, she moved on to teaching in Thailand (also winning a "Miss Earth" beauty pageant along the way).

Then we met ... and the magic happened ;) We started over a dozen ecommerce websites together. Most failed, some made enough for us to survive on ramen noodles. But we learnt a lot. Importantly one of those stores still exists today where we sell jewellery to the philippines market.

Hannah was then taught photography by a veteran in the Manila industry.

We moved to Australia where hannah tried her hand at wedding photography for a year. Thats when we started selling home fragrance and bath products to the Australian market, which has since expanded to the US, UK and NZ. Ever since Hannah has been crushing product development, and operations for Kaizen Brands.

Who Is Kaizen Brands?

Kaizen Brands is an Australian owned and operated company, based in Adelaide, Australia, we primarily focus on females under the age of 35 and have multiple online stores selling products from candles, bath bombs, scrubs, whipped soap to jewellery and dresses.

We are a young company (3 and half years old) and we sell primarily online, but our products can be found in some stores throughout Australia. The company is run and started by a young couple who have a real passion for the ecommerce space. We love to have fun, and we love ambitious thinkers that strive for Upgrade to see actual infoe join our small team. Ditch the suits & learn the skills only a small business could teach you.

We have a small team of 4. Two team members are based in the Philippines and two in Australia. We communicate through slack throughout the day.

Rapidly growing company, looking to expand internationally in the very near future. You'll have the opportunity to have a voice in the development of the business and the manufacturing plant as well as being involved in product development.

We have recently been recognised nationally for our achievements in the retail space, having been nominated as a finalist for the ORIAS awards (Australia), best new retailer.

More important than any skills or experience is that you fit our core values ...

Always Be Moving.
Give A Damn.
Enjoy Life.
Have Grit.
Embrace Change.

Opportunity:
Work as the content creator & social media manager, next to the founders of a fast-growing ecommerce company that uses cutting edge tactics to steer high-level business decisions for our own multi-million dollar E-commerce brands.

You will be in the privileged position to witness one of the countries fastest growing ecommerce from the inside out and learn what makes them successful. If you’ve got a burning desire to be learn and be the best version of yourself, and this sounds like the opportunity you’re looking for, keep reading.

For a couple of months you will also be filling in as our customer service rep, while our current employee is away on maternity leave. This will not only help you understand the business better as whole, but I am hoping gives you additional workplace skills.
