We are looking for an experienced, talented and creative Video Editor to join our team part-time. Our company is a small UK based education company, aimed at teaching children aged between 8 - 11, in the UK, based education curriculum.
Overview of work:
We have a total of 60 videos to edit in our first batch, which are ready to go. We have another 70 videos which are currently being made.
Our videos, average less than 5 minutes each in length, each final completed video will be made up of around 3 - 5 separate video files, each video file is finalized:
- Standard Company Video Intro
- Teacher overview of the topic, this is the teacher standing in front of a green screen and talking about the subject
- Screen recording from a computer, where examples are worked out by the teacher to explain the topic
These parts need to be stitched together to form 1 complete video, there needs to be transitions applied between each video clip.
The "Teacher overview of the topic", is the part that needs the most editing, in regards to effects, transitions, callouts of certain words and phrases and graphics, which need to be added to this video at certain points. Each video will have timings of when this needs to happen.
Videos have been filmed in front of a green screen, which we will need to be replaced with a relevant background to match the current topic.
We would like some appropriate music played at a low volume during the teaching overview
- You should be a fluent English speaker.
- Access to fast internet.
- You need to have highly creative skills to edit educational videos in a format to cater for highly "YouTube" influenced tech-savvy kids from the UK.
