JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary

Provides medical care/assistance to employees by treating illness, injuries and health problems and at the same time encourage them to participate in health programs designed to promote healthy lifestyle. This position also assists, supports doctor to drive occupational health survey on regular basis or daily basis.

Principal Accountabilities

- Ensures compliance with legislation, hospital standard operating procedures and accredited environmental, health and safety management systems.

- Assists the doctor in all aspect of medicine to ensure that all injuries and illness are treated adequately.

- Ensures that all medicine and medical equipment are fit for purpose and within the expiry date.

Minimum Requirements

Education

- Bachelor's Degree of Science or Diploma in Nursing

Years of Experience

1-3 years

Knowledge

- Knowledge in basic life support (BLS/ILS) and advance cardiac life administration (ACLS)

- Knowledge of medical terminologies and conditions

- Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area.

- Demonstrate sound work ethics

- Knowledge of ILO Standards, Principles, and Approached in Occupational Health Service

- Excellent communication and listening skills - Compassionate, patient and caring nature

- High skills in coordination and collaboration; Interpersonal Skills

- Analyze patient data and uses this to provide appropriate nursing care

- Assess patient needs and analyses patient data to make appropriate changes

- Demonstrates effective discretion, builds rapport with others and maintains confidentiality

- Demonstrates accountability for own professional judgments, actions, outcomes of care and continued competence in accordance with Qatari laws and regulations and the Scope of Practice
