Graphic Designer

We're looking for a freelance graphic designer with at least three years experience who is creative, detail-oriented and brand-savvy. We are looking for someone with strong digital experience and serious attention to detail. Must have a range of skills, equally able to design an award-winning website, eye catching print material (flyers/ pamphlets/ business cards/posters and banners) or a click-grabbing digital ad.

We are a fast growing residential and commercial solar company which means most of our graphic design needs will be focused around solar, electricity, savings etc. Hours will not be set to start with as this will be an as need basis (with projects to start asap) but could definitely turn into a part time position for the coming year.

Responsibilities:
Contribute new designs/concepts as needed
Become familiar with, and contribute to marketing material ideas
Keep abreast of current design and cultural trends
Create concepts, designs, and layouts based on knowledge of creative artwork principles and aesthetic design concepts
Ability to think conceptually, creatively and strategically
Must be detail-oriented and possess noteworthy organizational skills
Sense of urgency and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
At least three years of post-college graphic design experience with working knowledge of editing/customizing HTML, CSS, WordPress, email marketing templates and social media sites
Must possess excellent English skills both written and spoken
A strong understanding of website design
Experience with the Adobe create suite of tools, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Strong creative portfolio demonstrating good use of typography, grid-based design, white space, and color theory
