Hi there, I am a business coach in the UK and I am looking for a VA who can help me with online marketing/blogging to dramatically raise my profile, and generally be a virtual assistant.
The main part of the job will be article writing - ie producing easy to read, informative articles similar to those published on entrepreneur.com aimed at small business owners and individuals who wish to start/grow their business. Together we will come up with ideas for the articles but I'll expect you to research and put together draft articles.
I also run my website on wordpress and may need some help with that, plus producing downloadable documents and editable pdfs for my clients to use.
So the main skills I'd need would be
- Imagination - able to come up with 'on trend' article ideas or to put a new twist on an old theme that would be of interest to small business owners
- Great at research - researching topics surrounding self improvement, entrepreneurship and small business
- Ability to write articles in an easy to read and chatty style
- familiarity with wordpress
- able to use photoshop in case I need images creating or editing
- general internet research (ie coming up with a list of popular websites that I should guest blog for)
- basic design skills so that downloadable worksheets can be created from articles or ideas for my clients to use
