Mobile App

• The ability for a user to select their preferred language (English/Amharic)
• the App should then show the Bible, and the various navigation and other system settings in their preferred language
• Daily devotion
• Notes
• simple navigation for selecting the Bible Book, then the Chapter, then the verse
• reader to change the font styles and increase the font size, book, chapter and verse search, word search,
• Word search, book, Chapter and verse search, bookmarks, history of last 100 Bible verses read
• upon selection, the App should take the user directly to that verse
• simple search for any of the words, all of the words, or exact phrase match
• searches should return specific verses from various books of the Bible, user can then click on one of the verses, and the App should take them directly to that verse
• The app should run on iOS and Android phones
• App should integrate with Facebook for account creation, although this will be optional for the user
• App should allow administrators to log in and upload Bibles in various languages and configure any necessary settings to allow users to use it (this step may be done through a separate web portal, or through the App, as negotiated between the selected developer and the owner). Sample Bible files will be provided by the owner for development purposes. The owner will also provide a web service / API .
