WANTED:

Do you love HTML, CSS and Photoshop and want to do a lot of cut-ups of PSDs into compliant HTML and CSS using BEST PRACTICE techniques?

Experienced at creating responsive websites at a code level using twitter bootstrap

Experienced at working directly with html and css code and installing plugins and themes in Wordpress (including at a full developer and code level) and other CMS systems is an advantage

1. TEAM player, ready to work and communicate with others in regular meetings and use time tracking software and project management systems.
2. Passionate about LEARNING and constantly pushing yourself to use the BEST techniques and latest approaches to web development, ready to learn more.
3. DO NOT apply if you don't have:
* AT LEAST TEN SAMPLE WEBSITES REQUIRED
* A minimum of 4 years DEVELOPMENT experience
* SOLID development experience with HTML, CSS3 at a code level, not just within a cms
* Experience working with Responsive coding and bootstrap/boilerplate

Here’s The Situation

We are a rapidly growing digital agency with a position for a flexible and passionate person ready to do many small website update tasks (not content, just html/css work) and bigger projects cutting up new sites from photoshop to html. We need someone prepared to work on, Wordpress plus a small open source based CMS and sometimes stand-alone coding with no cms; extensively modifying the templates and creating multiple modules which need to be tidied up and fleshed out. Having good PHP skills is useful, but not essential.

PERFECT CSS and compliant XHTML is 100% essential.


To be a success in this role, you:
- Love getting the job done, quickly with an attention to detail and solid testing
- Enjoy problem solving and taking a module to completion
- Be constantly exploring new web development techniques and software, especially adobe products and new techniques
- Be constantly updating your own skills and understand CSS3 and HTML 5
- Have SOLID experience using photoshop
- Experience with APIs, XML, ajax and javascript are useful but not essential


Technical Skills*

ESSENTIAL
-Understanding the use of and practical skills with CSS3
-Working knowledge of Photoshop
-Able to write web compliant code
-Working Knowledge of Dreamweaver or similar editor
-Proficient in HTML5 and working on responsive sites
-Good working knowledge of PHP would be useful, but can be part of your training.
-Understand the best practice, and browser differences -cross browser testing
-Must be able to quickly adapt to using new software, and systems

We are also in the process of launching high-end web development and marketing products and services and are experiencing high growth in this area.

Our primary areas of expertise/business are search engine optimisation, web development and email marketing plus community building using social media. My team and I are very flexible and easy to get along with, we believe you should have the flexibility to set your own hours as long as you achieve the targets set and record times using timesheets. We will give you as clear instructions as possible including work flow maps and screen-cam videos. You can always ask us as many questions as possible until you're absolutely clear about what needs to be done.

What We’re Offering
-Full Time position 120 hours per month, may be extended for the right person
-Base rate of $7 p.h. on completion of 3 month trial
-Trial starts at $5 per hour with monthly pay rises.
-Quarterly pay-rises totaling up to another $2-$3p.h. every year... You could be earning over $10 by your second year.
-Stick with us for 2-3 years and you could earn over $20 p.h. You can trust us to reward you well if you work hard to grow the team. We want long term people to become key team members.
- Most tasks will have set timings and payments, based on our past experience.
