Google Apps Script help

Hi there!

NEED HELP ASAP

I have a Google APPS Script that fetches price data from an external API. It works as I want. The problem is that the document keeps refreshing. I use this only in Google Sheets

My flow is that I use Zapier to add rows of data into my Sheet, and it's here my Script is used.

The meaning is to only have the cell that runs my custom script run ONE TIME. Instead of running each time my Spreadsheet updates. I'm attaching my Google Script here.

Requirements:
1) I want the formula to run only once per cell.
2) No human intervention needed. I want everything to be automated (No need to push a button or do anything)

Possible solutions:
1) create an IF statement that will break the script if cell K{rowID} contains "1"
2) Run the script in another cell, then write a second script that copies ONLY the values from that cell. To accomplish this, you need to feed this function cell references (I couldn't figure out how to do this)
