Wordpress developer - Social Media - Video Editor Virtual assistant

We're currently looking to hire a full-time Virtual assistant to join our team.

Important skills:

1) Manage and work on new features for our wordpress website
2) Manage our social media and SEO work
3) Basic video editing skills

Good to have skills (will give you training)
1) Facebook lead generation
2) Powtoon video creation
3) Email list building

We need full time team member that can work 5 days a week, 8 hours per day. Working time will be flexible - but recommended if you have some of your hours during PST work hours.

Next month I am launching an online TV show called “Caterpillar to Butterfly”. This is a show where I interview people on topics that will help people in their life and post to my website. The show website is www.SijithSalim.com. This position is to be my full time assistant (40 hours/week) to help me with my show marketing, social media and also manage my wordpress website.

Let me give you an overview of the work. There are primarily 6 work that we have to do:

1) Wordpress Website maintenance - My show website is running wordpress and we would need to improve the features in it. For e.g., right now if you look at the Menu section of the website, the menu is not good looking. We will have to edit the CSS to make it look good. Having experience in html/css/wordpress is needed. If we need to improve the website, you will do the required tasks. The work will also will be ensure that the site is up and running and required backups/security upgrades are done as needed.

2) SEO - ensure that our website is SEO optimized to get traffic for our shows. Also promote our shows by submitting it to directories and other places like iTunes where we can get traffic.

3) Social media - We need to have a presence in Facebook and other social media, and actively promote the website and shows. I have training materials on Facebook marketing and on how to get email subscribers. I will give those training to you, and you will implement the lessons we learn in the training to our show. You will be in charge to update the social media and implement our marketing strategies. We will also do Facebook ads and you will be coordinating it. You will have admin access to my Facebook page and you will moderate the comments that comes in the fan page.

4) Creating powtoon videos - Basically for every guests who comes to my show, we need to create a 20 second intro about their background. Powtoon.com is a site where we can easily create animated cartoon videos. If you have some sense of graphics/artist inside you, then using the software to create videos using powtoon website will be easily. Once a guest is confirmed, I will give you a script for the video and you can create the video for me. I can give required training on this.

5) Preparing final video of the show - After a show is complete, I will give the video to you. We already have a powtoon intro of the show. You add this intro to the first part of the video, then add the powtoon intro you created for the guest, and then add the main interview video, and at the end any other video that we want to add. You will give me the final mp4 version which I will just go over and trim it if required, and the upload to our show video hosting site (wistia). Having video editing skill will help very much to do this work.

6) My virtual assistant for any work that needs help - You will be handling the task of posting the show video to the website, and then scheduling any required social media for the show. Also if I need to hire anyone for anything, you will be coordinating it.
Ideally, any tasks that I need to do which I can delegate, I will give it to you and you will do it for me.

My goal of having you is that I can focus on doing great interviews, and then giving required guidance to you and deciding the strategies for the show, while you actually do the work full time for me.
