Job Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical thinker with an audience-first mindset for the role of Digital & Content Marketing
Your central goal is to help grow our brand’s influence in Australia while also increasing brand loyalty and awareness.
He/She will manage a team of content creators, graphic designer & web developer and will require excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as demonstrate sound leadership and decision-making ability.
Your duties will include planning, implementing, and monitoring our digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in online marketing (SEO, SEM, SMM & PPC), art direction, and social media
Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following but not limited to:
Orchestrating digital content strategies across all online platforms.
Driving traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion.
Managing a content marketing
Managing a small team of writers, web developer and graphic designers.
Coordinate product and communications including writing/optimising a range of compelling stories and case studies, blogs, website content and other relevant information to be used based on the fundamentals of SEO and SEM
Knowing which platform different kinds of content are best suited
Manage projects responsible for website enhancements (merchandising etc)
Develop and manage new product creation strategy.
Identify market trends and analyse competitor techniques to develop new opportunities and optimise on digital spend
Managing
Manage the Google my Business page for Camera Warehouse (content / image creation and optimization)
Online reputation management (managing reviews on Google and other customer review platforms)
Oversee all social media channels for Camera Warehouse including, but not limited to:
Ensure consistent look/tone across all online marketing channels.
Manage relationships with outside service providers and agencies for website development,
Manage reporting tools on business impact and Return on Investment (ROI) of marketing campaigns.
Stay abreast of industry news & trends and emerging tools and design tactics to support our goal of innovation excellence.
Identify market trends and analyse competitor techniques to develop new opportunities and optimise on digital spend
Work to help keep marketing assets like photos, videos, art files,
Skills
Solid project management skills, including a strong attention to detail and the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Website merchandising experience
Innate passion for communicating through new media channels and understanding what motivates people to engage with content online.
Strong desire to try new things and continually improve, as a digital marketer.
Experience using content management systems and working with customer databases/CRMs.
Proven success coordinating SEO strategies and PPC/banner advertising campaigns.
Significant involvement in an e-commerce and/or
Experience working with or within digital marketing agencies highly preferred.
Keen eye for effective website design with CRO in mind, and experience collaborating with designers.
Working knowledge of social media and video hosting/distribution platforms.
Previous experience with Magento preferred
Capable of multiple tasking and prioritizing and allocates resources efficiently to meet deadlines. Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments on a daily
Language Skills
Literate and fluent in English. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Excellent communication skills, including technical & creative writing, proofreading, and speaking
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital and or content marketing or advertising position.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
A proven track record of driving significant increases in web traffic and conversions
Proficient with SEO & SEM. How it works and how to create and optimize content throughout the website.
Good understanding of PPC (Google AdWords, Google Shopping)
Proficient with Google Analytics.
Proficient with social media platforms & analytics
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferable
Experience with online community building.
