Facebook Group Engagement Manager

We are a pet business looking for a Social Media Manager to manage 2 brand new Facebook groups. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and overseeing all content in the group, developing an engagement strategy, replying to all comments, and moderating the two groups.

This role involves more than just posting, it is about creating a vibrant community of cat and dog lovers who will share and communicate regularly. You will be our representative online.

The role includes sourcing images, creating polls, running competitions, commenting and general management of the groups.

We're looking for someone who:

Has a passion for cultivating and growing social communities & working towards creating a happy space about cats and dogs.
Highly deadline driven and is comfortable with cross-functional collaboration.
Has strong communication and problem solving skills, a passion for pioneering, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a small team.
Is an analytical thinker, who uses data to influence decision ---------- n analyse Facebook data, showing growth in engagement (via the number of shares per post, or comments per post).
Research and create shareable posts on Facebook (e.g. repurpose videos, quotes, polls, infographics, etc.)

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, know the difference between British and US English, have excellent English written and communication skills, have great experience with Facebook for business and have proven experience in group management, social media calendar creation and review editorial content calendars, please provide examples and an application.

You will post in the groups daily, and engage with everyone in the group, creating a plan to keep them engaged and coming back.

We are a niche pet brand, and the attitude needs to reflect our brand. Ideally you have a cat and a dog (or either).

The job is for someone with EXCELLENT written English. This is a permanent role for the right candidate, with around 10-15 hours per week.
