JOB OVERVIEW

Description
Job overview: We manage a number of sites and are looking for someone skilled in this area (front-end/js/html/software/QA/wordpress/php/etc). We have a current project we would like to hire you for. If this project goes well, we'd be looking to extend an offer of full-time employment to work on a variety of the 30+ sites we manage.

Background:
We noticed that our conversions have declined over the preceding two months and we believe the issue is possibly related to JavaScript features on our website that are incompatible with some browsers. A conversion occurs when a user goes through all of the steps to submit a moving form.

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong HTML knowledge
- JavaScript Mastery
- Debugging Skills
- WordPress Understanding a plus
- Conversion optimization experience a plus

Deliverables:
1) Initial Audit
- We would like a full audit run to see how our site compares in all browsers and test for obvious formatting problems, form submission issues, and other JS complications. We would be open to a variety of audit report formats, but would like detailed documentation regarding the browsers and OS that were tested.

2) Report highlighting common issues:
This would be an informal documentation of the likely culprits of general conflicts encountered.

3) Recommendations regarding how to fix these issues:
For example, if there is a javascript calendar widget being used that happens to conflict with a form interaction on numerous browser versions, you could recommend that we call the calendar script at a different point in time, or suggest other specific calendars that you'd recommend that would be compatible. The goal here is to provide general guidance for us in the direction we could take to solve the issue, but you wouldn't have to immediately solve the issue yourself (unless you want to!).

Detail Oriented:
We enjoy working with individuals that are incredibly detail ---------- is a very important quality as part of our hiring process. As a test of your attention to detail, please do not answer the question on the application form that asks "How long have you been using onlinejobs.ph?". If you provide any type of answer to this question, we will immediately discard your application.

Potential Follow-Up Work:
- Based upon the issues uncovered in this project, we will be looking to hire a front-end designer to make necessary optimization improvements. If your work on this project proves to be thorough and well understood, you would be our prime candidate for the next round of design work, for this site and all of the others we manage.
