JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented email marketer with a mind for email strategy and an uncanny ability to follow the directions of the marketing and customer experience teams. You’ll work in a heavy cross-functional capacity owning both the execution and guidance of strategic support for transactional emails for the business. You’re that perfect combination of skilled email marketing wizard, best practice-guru, and strategic partner who can advise all teams on the best ways to leverage customer and prospect-facing emails for the company.

This role will report into the VP of Demand Generation and work closely with Product, Sales, and Operations.
Responsibilities Include:
• Management/ownership of all email distribution tools
• Ownership of the master email calendar
• List segmentation management and strategy
• Content marketing and nurture campaign email automation
• Strategy/management of opt-in/opt-out process
• Lead creative development and technical implementation of new transactional emails, drip series, triggered emails
• Manage daily execution of emails from creative ticket entry, creative reviews, list and campaign set up in our email platform, coding, QA and scheduling
• Create and present email results & insights on a weekly and monthly basis
• Manage email channel via automations, list growth and custom webforms
• Custom journey mapping across multi-channels
• Customer insights & data analytics

• Create a standard of excellence (best practices) in email and marketing automation
• Implement and support front-end technology questions regarding HTML emails, landing pages, etc. from templates while incorporating industry best practices
• Manage data including segmentation and reporting, testing, cleansing and optimization
• Develop and execute testing and optimization strategies to improve email metrics
• Assist with customer contact strategies to deepen the customer relationship and increase sales opportunities and then execute on these campaigns.
• Optimization of lead scoring and distribution methodology to ensure quality leads are routed through Pardot/salesforce and notifications are sent to the SDR/BDR team, increasing efficiencies and conversion rates
• Personalization & recommendations
• Tracking conversion rate, retention and reactivation optimization
• Implement automated marketing email/outbound campaigns, i.e. invites to events/webinars, drip & nurture programs and customer communication across our business units
• Work with marketing and sales stakeholders to ensure flawless end-to-end campaign execution
• Build marketing automation programs that align with the lead lifecycle and sales processes
• Provide reporting and campaign analytics to measure program success and how to optimize
• Manage and optimize email database elements - list selection, email development (content from program manager), testing and approval process
• Work with Marketing team members to support program execution.
• Define processes that route leads to marketing and sales teams so that leads are handled appropriately
• Lead Marketing Automation Process and Collaboration with Sales and Across Teams
• Work closely with salesforce administrator to ensure leads route and track properly, and to maintain and improve database health
• Work closely with Sales Operations to ensure seamless integration with SFDC and other reporting systems
*Direct Skills and Experience in the Following

• 5+ years of experience in Email Marketing
• Strong knowledge of HTML (knowledge of XML is a nice to have)
• Solid understanding of email fundamentals (CAN-SPAM compliance, deliverability, A/B split testing, etc.) and KPIs
Email reporting experience; knowledge of email metrics and able to identify trends and translate data into actionable business insights
• Experience with email coding (understand email coding best practices)
• Experience with personalization and dynamic content coding for email
• Experience with segmentation and targeting
• Hands on experience writing content for market and non-marketing emails to customers
• Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua and/or Hubspot experience required
• Salesforce or CRM experience required, including reporting and managing dashboards
• Experience putting together email cadences, drip campaigns and triggers, qualifying leads etc.
• Impeccable email marketing skills
• Experience being the single point of contact for non-sales emails
• Advanced Excel skills
• Basic html skills
• Experience with Mailgun and Utm tracking codes preferred
• Robust knowledge of email marketing best practices, legal implications etc.
• Excellent English Communication
