General Admin & Marketing Assistant | Searching Again...

We are looking for a mature graduate who considers themselves to be a bit of an "all-rounder" to assist us with a variety of both administrative and marketing related tasks. You'll also need to have VERY good written English skills and hopefully, be able to converse well in English too. If you can understand an Australian accent, bonus points for you!

This is a role that you'll need to be flexible enough to "grow" ---------- itially, you be working directly for both the CEO and COO of a digital marketing agency. We have direct customers and also own some growing digital marketing directories and content-focused web properties. What we'll be asking you to do from day-to-day will vary considerably, exploiting whatever your key strengths and abilities might prove to be.

On any day you might be asked to:

Review email and decide if it should be deleted, filed, forwarded to somebody else for action, or have a task allocated to somebody on our project management system as a result of the email. You might also need to respond to some emails directly, or follow some course of action yourself to satisfy the inquiry.

Add, edit or delete listings from one of our digital directories. You'll also need to follow up on advertiser inquiries, act as frontline support to resolve minor issues, know when to escalate a problem and who to escalate it to, etc.

Add, edit, delete and/or redirect URL's on our directories. You'll also be adding content like blog posts, articles, page titles and meta descriptions, images and a variety of other tasks using the WordPress and/or Joomla! content management platforms.

We might ask you to "spin" articles using spinning tools - thus the need for VERY good English and/or ask you to research, write or edit blog posts and other types of non-primary web content. You'll need to be able to think for yourself when we assign these types of tasks, although you will have clear direction.

If you don't already know how to use them, you'll need to learn to use a variety of SEO, social media and marketing automation tools. If names like ActiveCampain, Hubspot, Mautic, GSA Search Ranker, Scrapebox, Meet Alfred, Mailshake, GMass, BombBomb and the like are familiar to you, so much the better. If you can use social media effectively and have used posting and scheduling tools like Onlywire or Buffer, that's helpful too.

Have you ever harvested and purged data for leads? Great - you'll be doing quite a bit of that. If you can use Microsoft Excel proficiently, you'll like some of our processes to make this easier. Hopefully, you'll have done a bit of cold email or cold social media outreach before.

OK - we know that's a lot and we're realistic enough to know that we will not get somebody with all of those skillsets and experience. We're looking for somebody with some "all-round" experience who'd like to learn more, get better and maybe grow into a more specific role with us. We will provide training videos for pretty much everything we ask you to do.

You need to be SMART - you'll probably have an IQ of 120 or above. You need to have VERY good English skills. You need ATTENTION TO DETAIL. You need to have an appetite for learning. You need to be flexible. You need to be somewhat goal and task-oriented. You need to be a self-starter who can THINK FOR THEMSELVES. You need to be unafraid to ask questions - or even to get things wrong sometimes - we know that happens.
