Atlanta Personal Chef Service is searching for a Virtual Assistant who is passionate about helping a small business operation with behind-the-scenes operational, invoicing, and bookkeeping support. In this role, your responsibilities will include preparing client invoices, reconciling credit card transactions and receipts for accuracy, running weekly operational reports, month-end bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks, and providing other operational and administrative support as needed.

This is our first engagement with a Virtual Assistant, and there is an opportunity for the role to expand upon a successful trial period.

You are the right fit for this role if you are organized, scheduled, analytical, detail-oriented, timely, have proficiency in written and spoken English, are experienced with Excel, Google Drive, and Quickbooks. Initially this position will report directly to the business owner to support the business owner and culinary team, but may in the future report to our Sales & Operations manager.

Responsibilities:
Reconciling all chef credit card transactions, ensuring proper documentation and receipts are present. In the case of errors, or missing receipts, you will need to reach out to the team member (via email) for them to correct their missing information or errors.
Preparing weekly service invoices in Google Drive
Reporting on weekly operational team metrics. Training videos will outline what needs to be done on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
Performing month-end Quickbooks tasks such as classifying deposits, payroll, and bank statement reconciliations
Set up and manage business apps for team success (Tsheets, Gmail accounts, Drive, Company credit cards, and more)
Assist and complete special projects as assigned that support the business owner and culinary team
Possible areas for future responsibilities:
Source possible chef candidates via LinkedIn, Facebook, and other job sites
Review chef resumes & engage in phone screen interviews
Additional opportunities as business needs evolve

Desired Traits, Skills & Requirements:
Written and spoken English proficiency
Proficiency in all Google Drive products (email, Sheets, Docs, Folders, etc)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Proficiency with Quickbooks Desktop or Online
Ability to write simple excel formulas (if then, whatif, countif, etc) to capture needed operation data

Work Hours:
While the company office hours are 9 - 5pm EST, most work can be done outside of these times. The role will require a regular, scheduled hour on Tuesdays and Thursday to overlap with EST office hours for regular communication, feedback, and training (9am - 10am EST Tuesday and Thursday, for example). Most work deadlines will be by 8am ---------- pensation:
Initial 30 day trial period to determine this is the right fit on both sides. This position will begin at 15 hours per week and may evolve into more hours as needs grow. Competitive rates for reporting and admin tasks. Timeproof or other time tracking software will be used. Pay will be made every two weeks or as a monthly salary.
