Our client supports an ecommerce company, venture capital firm and several healthcare software companies, working with an in-house visual creative department.
He is seeking a Copywriter to help say and write it all. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and imaginative candidate to conceptualize, create and deliver integrated marketing campaigns while evolving the brand’s voice and tone.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on taking initiative and takes pride in developing work that breaks through the clutter.
The collaborative nature of this work and fast pace require that the copywriter works efficiently and independently.

-Are a compelling copywriter and storyteller
-Know the importance of being dynamic, playful, innovative and customer-centric
-Love brainstorming and pushing ideas as far as possible
-Thrive on the big picture but have an eye for the details
-Think conceptually about how copy, design and photography combine to create an end product that sings
-Have advertising copywriting experience for retail, ecommerce, healthcare and the VC or financial sector
-Can infuse five words (or less) with emotional resonance
-Know the rules, and most importantly, when and how to break them
-Have experience creating and evolving a brand’s voice and tone
-Are open and willing to hear constructive feedback and edits
-Proven ability to balance the brand’s voice with direct response effectiveness and performance
-Project and time management skills
-Excellent language, grammar and writing skills with attention to detail
-A killer book of your previous work (please be sure to submit your samples when you apply)
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE…
5+ years’ consumer marketing experience
Ad agency or in-house experience as a copywriter
Flexibility with urgent requests
HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING…
-Write clear, concise and strategic pieces that drive business results, support key marketing initiatives and inspire action
-Write customer-centric copy that uses the appropriate voice for a particular customer
-Drive and manage projects internally; gain approvals from internal partners and managers
-Call into kick-offs and creative reviews and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
-Condense significant amounts of messaging into succinct consumer communications
-Prioritize and address feedback to continually refine and improve copy
-Work closely with peers in design and marketing while maintaining and upholding the brand to ensure a consistent tone and style across all communication
-Develop seasonal campaigns and messaging guidance
-Continually ascertain workflow efficiency and accurate completion of projects according to deadlines
