This job posting is for a virtual assistant to help with numerous administrative and marketing tasks for the launch of a new US Center for Entrepreneurship program. This job posting is for a 1-week trial, but we are looking for someone who is available to work full time if that first week goes smoothly.
Potential projects that you will be asked to complete include:
Research:
Compile list of conferences focusing on small business and/or entrepreneurship, in the US, in the next 12 months that are currently seeking speaker applications
Marketing: Design 10 ads for an Adwords test
Marketing: Design 10 ads for Facebook advertising test
Marketing: Design 10 ads for Twitter advertising test
Research: Research top affiliate networks and list the most popular ones in a spreadsheet showing pros and cons of each, number of affiliates, fees, etc.
Research: Research media outlets and journalists who write about topics relevant to the program and create a spreadsheet showing each potential contact, links to their relevant articles, etc.
Research: Research websites that focus on entrepreneurship and/or small business and accept guest post submissions and create a spreadsheet showing each potential website, its audience, its traffic numbers, the submission process, etc.
Research: Research potential strategic partners for the promotion of the program and create a spreadsheet showing the potential partner, its organization type, its audience, a point of contact, etc.
Research: Research small business credit cards in the US to compare their rewards programs and create a spreadsheet showing the credit card name and company, the interest rate, the rewards program details, etc.
Research: Research the top payment processing options for sale through the program website and create a spreadsheet showing the payment processing company, the fees associated it, pros and cons, etc.
Marketing: Distribute various content marketing pieces widely following the basic principles of effective content marketing
Administrative: Make travel arrangements for the partners to and from events.
Marketing: Implement a social media marketing strategy across multiple social media platforms.
This is just a sample of the types of projects that we would ask of you. More information about each project will be provided as each project is assigned.
It is very important that the virtual assistant have excellent written and spoken English skills.
