JOB OVERVIEW

Social Media Content Writer for STEM/coding education program

Main goals are to increase likes/shares/follows/members on our social media and SEO on our web sites to increase sales of our STEM Summer Camps and Builder Birthday parties. We currently have Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and a blog. Our two main websites are:

You will:

1) Create repurposed SEO-building content (stories, videos, images, infographics, quotes).
2) Write short and long form social media content, from very short posts to longer blog articles.
3) Repurpose our long form written content into other types of shareable content for social platforms (content atomization) and SEO-driving blog posts on our site.
4) Use photos from our Google Photos account to post content.
5) Plan new and creative social media campaigns that add audience members, follows, likes, shares, etc.
6) Work with existing team on social media marketing.
7) Strategically promote our content, channels, brand.
8) Research content online that can be reposted with appropriate hashtags and URLs to maximise sharing/re-posting.
9) Manage content posts on Hootsuite.

You must have high written and verbal English communication skills.
You must must be able to write about STEM/coding education.
You must have high attention to detail.
