Background: We have dozens of clients who want to grow their business by showing up higher on Google rankings.
Our SEO process uses outreach link building as an important part of the overall SEO strategy.
You will be working with a team on this project.
You will provide our outreach manager with high quality prospects for
Our outreach manager will pitch them to write for their website.
Then our writers will create content for their site and our outreach manager will deliver it.
Your prospects will be scored based on our quality assurance guidelines. If your success rate is very low, you will probably be fired. If your success rate is very high, then there's room for a pay increase.
Your role is very important, because high quality prospects will lead us to success or failure for the whole project.
The salary range listed is for the average person in this role. If you feel you are exceptionally good, then we're open to negotiation.
We need a white hat link building expert. Tasks will include:
1. Prospecting - I need you to go out and find niche relevant opportunities. This will include:
• Link round-up opportunities
• Guest posting opportunities
• Sponsored post opportunities
• Resource page links
• Broken link building
2. Organization – Ability to use Google Sheets / Excel, communicate with team members and manage multiple tasks at one time.
Skills required:
• English - Reading
• Editing – Proofreading
• Customer Service & Admin Support - Content Moderation
Expectations
• Use search engine operators to find opportunities through Google searches
• Have basic knowledge on using tools and automation to qualify websites more quickly, such as Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
• Quick to learn and adapt on other tools that will be needed to complete the tasks.
• Find link opportunities including the following types:
• • Link roundups
• • Resource pages
• • Guest posts
• • Sponsored posts
• • Unlinked mentions
• • Forums
• • Blog comments
• • PR (Press)
• • Local Bloggers
• • Social Profiles
• Most of the opportunities you find should be free, not paid (sponsored posts are paid)
• Be able to log and organize data accordingly
A Day in the Life
1. Check teamwork for any new assignments. (This is our project management system -- similar to basecamp, asana, trello etc.)
2. Double check the outreach master sheet for any changes in the assignments
3. Look at the most important (due soonest) prospecting assignment and begin working on finding prospects
4. Communicate to Outreach Manager and/or other teamwork if you are having difficulty on a particular task or subject
5. Log any good prospects in the spreadsheet, making sure to find
6. Update “status” in the prospecting tab to “working” then “done” as you progress
7. Check off tasks in teamwork once they’re complete
