Overall Technical Lead

1.1. Responsibilities
1.1.1. Manage development and support activities including requirements gathering, defining specifications, test case development and execution, code development, integration, staging and roll out to production, and providing support for the production environment.
1.1.2. Creates solution design document and interface specifications with sufficient detail and manages design within the scope of the project goals.
1.1.3. Provides leadership and mentoring throughout the project phase to junior team members.
1.1.4. Keep abreast of the latest tools and technologies to ensure process and product improvement.

1.2. Requirements
1.2.1. At least 10 years of professional experience as in Java development and at least 3 years experience as a senior or technical lead role in DevOps.
1.2.2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field of study. Graduate degree preferred.
1.2.3. Solid experience in development and deployment of Java enterprise microservice-type applications.
1.2.4. Experience in designing executable test and roll-to-production plans against a targeted technology environment.
1.2.5. Experience in multiple technology stacks: Machine Learning/AI/NLP, Java, Python and JavaScript/HTML 5.
1.2.6. Strong experience in SQL and NoSQL data sources.
1.2.7. Experience in technical sizing and performance optimization for enterprise transactional systems.
1.2.8. Strong focus on design and application architecture.
1.2.9. Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project) and facility for agile development methods (e.g. Kanban).
1.2.10. Preferably possess technical training and certification in any or all of the areas including but not limited to Networking, Cloud technologies, Web Technologies, Performance Optimization, Security, Encryption.
1.2.11. Proven ability to work on and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
1.2.12. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
